Salt is essential for life and is one of the easiest, most effective remedies on the planet!
In around 2700 B.C., the earliest systematic exposition of the different types of salts, their uses and practicalities, and methods of extraction was first published in China. Hippocrates, a Greek physician and one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine, encouraged his fellow healers to make use of the salty water to heal various ailments by immersing their patients in sea water. The ancient Greeks continued to follow this advice as a remedy. Later, in 1753, an English author and physician, Charles Russel, published "The Uses of Sea Water".
